My Approach

Hypnosis is safe and natural

Hypnosis is not being in a trance! Hypnosis is a state of mind where you focus your attention and become more responsive to positive suggestions and this makes the therapeutic change you want to achieve, quicker and more powerful.

For some people, hypnosis may feel like they are more absorbed in their imagination, others may feel more relaxed than normal. Everyone is different and everyone can be hypnotised. It doesn't need any special ability but if you allow yourself to relax, think positively and be motivated, it can help you.

Hypnosis is not like being asleep or unconscious. You are aware of everything and you will only accept suggestions that resonate with you and no one can make you do things against your will.

You are safe and in total control.

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH)

As a cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapist, I use several techniques that focus on your wellbeing across three areas: the way you feel, your behaviours and your thinking
and I will integrate hypnosis to enhance the effect of these tools.

CBH uses evidence-based techniques supported by scientific research, ensuring that I do not engage in practices lacking satisfactory evidence for their effectiveness. My methods are well-established, peer-reviewed interventions aligned with the findings of respected organisations such as the British Psychological Society and the British Medical Association.

Mindfulness

I use a combination of cognitive behavioural therapy, hypnotherapy and mindfulness tailored to fit you and you life.

Mindfulness is the awareness of our internal state and surroundings. It is our ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we are doing, in a non-judgemental way. It can help you deal with challenges and improve your physical, mental and spiritual well-being
